fuck it. i'll talk to myself.
it was a great damn show. very interesting to see how they'd pull it off (i'd missed their last tour). the place was sold out, packed to the fucking rafters... literally. people from all walks and a surprisingly large age range. quite possibly the most diversely attended show i've been to.
and here's how much i suck and while yes, some of my activities are less than legal, i'm a stickler for most rules. had tickets left over from giveaways, took them with me. (when promo tix go to waste, you're less likely to receive a healthy amount the next time around - so i always try to make sure someone can put them to use). ran into people looking for tix, so i gave them away (they're comp tix and per fcc rules, we can't "profit" from them). as we get closer, discover it's sold out, and folks are paying 100+ for a ticket.
worked out in the end, the folks i'd given tix to kept my bladder full of ice cold beer all night and they got me a shirt.
